LaTrise' Simpson
Owner/Artistic Director
LaTrise’ began teaching dance at the early age of 14. She has found that she has the ability to bring out the best dancer in all of her students. In 2010 LaTrise became the owner/artistic director of Dance Xtreme. Many of her dances have received high scores at both regional and national competitions. LaTrise’s innovative choreography and style have captured the eye of many judges, and because of this, she has been awarded over 30 best choreography awards. LaTrise’ continues her education and training so that she can continue to provide her students with quality and current dance education.
LaTrise' currently teaches all competition team jazz, technique, lyrical, & musical theater classes. She also will be working with the recreational classes this year.
She is really looking forward to teaching all new and returning students this season.
Kendall Flythe
XDT Tap/Hip Hop
First as a dancer and now as a teacher and choreographer Kendall has been a part of Dance Xtreme since 2010. Her creative and innovative concepts have helped to make the Xtreme Dance Team Hip Hop dances award winning dances at every competition. Kendall's tap dances have also caught the eye of the judges at several competitions.
Kendall currently teaches all levels of the Xtreme Dance Team Hip Hop team as well as the competition classes for Tap.
Brieonnah Gaither
Tutus & Taps Director & Recreational Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop
Brieonnah is an XDT alumni. She competed with the team for over 6 years earning many regional and national awards. Brieonnah will be attending the University of South Carolina Aiken to pursue her degree in Business Management.
Brieonnah will be the acting director of our Tutus and Taps program, where she will be overseeing and teaching all preschool classes. She is also the instructor for our recreational tap, jazz, and hip hop classes.
She is looking forward to stepping out of the role of dancer to teacher and watching her students grow and progress.
Kameryn Flythe
XDT Hip Hop/Contemporary
Starting out as a member of the Xtreme Dance Team, Kameryn has grown to be an amazing choreographer and dancer. Her choreography has helped win the Xtreme Hip Hop team many awards and for the past three seasons she has also been the instructor for the Xcalibur contemporary class. She has built herself a large social media following with her amazing dance videos and recently was a featured performer in a music video.
